Harrington - Feely wedding-family photo album

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the countdown is now to 12 days until the wedding day! We thought that we post the start of our family wedding album. This post will contain wedding photos of the past generations of our family. We hope you will enjoy these photos. We will be adding our own addition to these wedding photos in 12 days time!!! Now without further delay, here are our family photos!

We will start out with the oldest possible photos first:

This photo is of my great Grandma and great Grandpa Cloutier who were married on September 8th, 1905 in Somerset, WI.

The next photo is of my great Grandpa(Robert) and great Grandma Harrington(maiden name: Lorretta Bonneprise) on their wedding day on November 5th, 1913 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset, WI. The two people standing behind them are my great Grandpa Harrington's cousins Ed and Elsie Leverty who are related to him thru my great great Grandma Harrington(maiden name: Catherine Leverty) who married my great great Grandpa John Harrington.

Ok, let's take a break from photos from my side of the family tree and look at Meara's family photos.

This is a photo of: from left to right -

Great Grandpa Daniel Francis Canty and his wife(her Great Grandma) Elizabeth(maiden name: Donovan). Next in order is her grandpa Robert Patrick and her nana, Mary Patrick(maiden name:Canty) and her Great Uncle Padraig Murphy. This photo was taken in Cork City, Ireland.

This next photo is of Meara's Grandpa Robert Patrick standing outside his military barracks.

Here is one of Meara's favorite family photos and this one is of her Grandpa Robert Patrick and Grandma Mary Patrick(maiden name: Canty) on their wedding day.

For the next set of photos we will go back to my side of the family.

This photo is of my Grandpa Jerry Harrington(real name is Everett) and my Memere(Grandma Lucille Harrington- maiden name:Cloutier) on their wedding day.

Here is the certificate of marriage from my Grandpa Jerry(Everett Harrington) and Memere's(Lucille Cloutier) wedding.

Ok, well that is the stopping point to this post for tonight. I will continue it tomorrow night with photos from our parents' weddings and my sister's wedding.

20 Days and counting!

So 20 days and counting. We went to Bristol Oaks County Club yesterday to finalize all the numbers. The wedding planner decided that even though we had already sent out all of the invitations and received all of the RSVP's back she thought it would be a good idea to change the entire time line of our wedding reception. On top of that I found out that there is a $1.25/a piece charge for cutting the cake and a $3.25 charge for cup of soda. That means that the price of soda is more expensive than the overall cost for a half barrel of Miller Lite. Both charges are absurd and in my opinion is highway robbery. Hopefully we can have the lady making our cake sign an insurance waiver allowing her to cut the cake and thus getting rid of the $1.25/per slice cake cutting charge. Ok, that's all for now. Check back later for more news all the way up to the day of the wedding.

First of many Feelington family blog posts!

Welcome one and all to the Feeling Family Blog! Actually, our family name is not actually Feelington. My last name is Harrington and Meara, my fiancee's last name is Feely so we joke around a lot that we should just ditch my last name and combine both of our two last names and create a brand new one. So combine the two and TADAH! You have the last name of Feelington! Meara and I are now counting down to THE DAY, which I mean our wedding day! As of April 23rd, there is now 25 days left until our wedding day!!!! It is going to be an amazing Irish wedding and I can't wait for the day to arrive!!! Well it is now 11:30pm CDT and I need to get some sleep for work tomorrow so I think this will conclude the inaugural post for the Feelington Family Blog!
